The Société de Transport de Laval was founded in 1971 under the name of Commission de Transport de la Ville de Laval which came with the merger of 3 private compagnies of which were:

  • Autobus Mille-Îles (1967) inc.
  • Les Autobus Yvan Lévis ltée
  • Laval Autocar enr.

The name Sociéte de Transport de Laval we know today came in 1984.
