Joseph McArdle is a transit enthusiast and collector from Pointe-Aux-Trembles, Quebec.


Joseph is a high-school graduate of Rosemount High School in Montreal, Quebec. He has taken on the role as head wiki-editor for the TransitFanWiki in order to keep it up to date.

Joseph is currently employed as a full-time dispatcher at Entreprise de Gestion Georges et Robert Inc (EGGR Inc), a small transport company located in L'Assomption, Québec. He also works infrequently on contract for the Société de Transport de Montréal distributing timetables in the buses before they leave the garage.

The username montreal66 was created in 2003 as a handle for a geocaching website and was later adopted into the transit world as a username. For photography and videos, the handle MrMontreal66 Productions is used.


Joseph is a member of various transit boards throughout the internet. He contributes to various sites like Forum [1] and Canadian Public Transit Discussion Board [2] providing with some information when the time is needed, he also infrequently responds to various question on NYCT Forum [3], Bus Talk Forum [4] and Forum [5].

Joseph is a regular member of the Forum [6]. He is a frequent Wiki editor and has been given the job to maintain the wiki and making sure the information the wiki is up to date and accurate..

Joseph is also one of the Co-Founders of Charters, which was formed to offer transit fans a fun-filled day on a rare or unusual vehicles. He was the organizer of many charters including STLaval 6405, Cornwall Transit 8558, CITVR 600309 and STO 9132. He has also been a valuable source on the other charters hosted by Charters.


Joseph likes to travel to other cities, provinces and countries in order to take pictures of the buses, streetcars, subways and trains in the city.
