Location
TTC: Eglinton Division (alternatively New Eglinton or Comstock) serves the transit mainly to:
- Scarborough
- Eastern North York
- Don Mills
- East York
Eglinton Division is located at 38 Comstock Rd. on Lebvoic Av.
History
The 121,000 sq. ft. facility was opened on March 31, 2002 replacing and merged the operations of Danforth and Old Eglinton garages. It has 2 wash racks, 2 fuelling stations, 14 40-foot repair hoists, 4 inspection pit stations and a all UWE outdoor storage area for buses.
This division is known as a host to Doors Open Toronto in 2009.
Bus Fleet
Eglinton currently holds the entire fleet of 309 diesel Orion VII 40 foot (12 metre) low-floor vehicles. It was the first TTC division and is now to be a 100% fully accessible garage.
