Guy-Concordia, formally known as Guy is a station on the green line of the Montreal Metro.
History
The Station was originally named after the street it sits on. Guy street took its name from Etienne Guy, who represented Montreal at the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada and owned the land where the station and street are located today.
In 1988, the name of the station was changed to reflect that the station serves the Sir George Williams Campus of the Concordia University.
In March of 2012, the STM announced the long overdue renovation of the St-Mathieu street Exit, which included adding turnstiles, renovating the entrance with new floors, ceiling, sprinkler and emergency tools, as well as the lighting stairs and escalators. The STM will also add motorized doors at the entrance of the station. The work is scheduled to finish in August 2012.

Guy-Concordia station is located in the borough of Ville-Marie on the corner of De Maisonneuve and Saint-Mathieu, as well as De Maisonneuve and Guy.
