History

Beaudry metro is named after the nearby street. Named after Pierre Beaudry, former owner of the land where the station is located.

The station was renovated and and partially redesigned in 1999. A Unique part of the design was the new glassed-in entrance designed with rainbow-colored masts over the doors. The design was a homage to the large populated neighborhood of gays and lesbians known as the Village, which the station serves.
