Joliette is a station on the green line of the Montreal Metro.

History

Joliette station is named after a nearby street, Joliette street was named after Barthélémy Joliette (1789–1850), who served in the National Assembly and Legislative Council of Lower Canada, and was the founder of the village of L'Industrie, laster renamed Joliette.

Joliette station is located in the borough of Mercier-Hochelage-Maisonneuve on the corner of Hochelaga and Joliette streets.
