NPR radio stations are exactly the same as PBS TV stations. Once in a while, they'll go into a stopset and do nothing but beg for money during one of their membership drives. It's annoying as hell. |

Thank you all for you kind words of welcome. You know, I still check the other board, but I don't post as often as I did before (don't want to risk making a mistake and getting suspended... ) and I mostly check the Transit Lounge, Western Canada and Ontario sections. I find that the CPTDB, especially the Quebec section to be not as welcoming as before, some admins trying to play God, etc. Also, I'm sure that on this board we won't hear and stupid anti-LFS talk (we all know where that comes from, eh?) and at least we won't risk getting suspended for a stupid mistake on a bus sighting. I know I am ranting, and I also know that there maybe some members of the other board who aren't members here that will read my comments and I might get into trouble because of that. You know what? I DON'T CARE! I was a victim of censorship when I put in my signature a link to a video from a '70s French movie I found on YouTube because a couple of members thought it was blasphemous and they went crying to one of the admins. I know I won't have any troubles here and I think we'll all get along pretty good. |
